Chas E Kennedy a 93 year old resident of Vinton was arrested Tuesday evening by Officer Ed Leighton on charges of passing forged checks. He allegedly passed three five dollar checks dated March 7 9 1 and 20 made on First National Bank stationery signed HB BH Eaker. Kennedy has no money on deposit and his signature matches the back of the slips. He has prior trouble in Vinton including a billiard balls theft and multiple court appearances. His case will be referred to the county attorney.
