New York on February 28 reports the death of Willan Lloyd Garrison known as an abolitionist and longtime editor of the New York National Woodhull? newspaper for more than forty years. He died last night at age 60 after several months of illness.

William Perrin died at 12:80 today noon from an attack of appendicitis suffered three days earlier. He was a 19 year old assistant caulber in the New Hartford bank. His parents Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Partin reside five four miles west of town and are highly respected. Arrangements for the funeral had not been made when the dispatch was sent.
Mrs W C Esher longtime Laporte resident and wife of Rev. Esher German Evangelical pastor dies at home of her daughter after a winter visit in Gris. Complications led to death. She lived in Laporte fifty years and was active in church and charitable work. Funeral details not provided.

Waverly residents report a domestic dispute over a farm split involving Neimeier. Sophie Leghme family members, eight children, and the farm total stake are described. County Attorney Stensol and authorities held a consultation as the husband, aged 54, is reported as temporarily deranged after a presumed quarrel over the farm and downtrodden finances.
In Webster City on February 28, Judge H Richards died after a brief illness. A prominent jurist in the state, he retired from the bench on January 1 and had recently moved to Minketpalm. His wife Mrs Richards was at his bedside when life ended, the death attributed to sudden diabetes complications.
Henry Woetering, an 80 year old German resident of Tama, Iowa, ended his life with a bullet in his head at his residence. The body was found by the housekeeper after the shot penetrated through his head into a wall. Authorities deem the act possibly linked to his health and wealth.
