Chicago reports say E W Steel of Caron B G cites Winnipeg dispatches claiming ninety lumbermen employed by Bik Lumber Fernie died in a disaster. Greene Aug 3 Special Palmer Bros livery burned at 1:00 am Monday morning with an adjoining blacksmith shop. Origin unknown but believed started from the blacksmith shop. Palmers lost 18 horses and all vehicles, heavy loss only partially insured. Greene now without a livery as another barn burned last year.

The physicians say the method is preventive rather than a partial cure and effective when applied timely.
