Fire Routs Sleepers in Five-Story Tenement Fire

A fire at 44 Hester Street in New York killed Beryl Weinstein his wife and infant son. Fifteen people were injured and about one hundred others endangered. Three policemen who searched the building woke sixteen sleeping families, preventing greater loss of life.

Mrs Seeley Dies at Presbyterian Hospital

Mrs Paulina A Seeley born November 13 1885 in St Paul died Thursday morning at Presbyterian Hospital after kidney trouble. Wife of Paul Seeley formerly Paulina Ludwig she lived in Waterlow two years with husband employed at Iowa Dairy plant. Survived by husband a brother and a sister in St Paul she was a German Lutheran member with funeral arrangements pending. Interment not at Elmwood.

Death From Urmia Poisoning in Presbyterian Hospital

Mrs. Calvin Sanders died from uramia poisoning at Presbyterian Hospital after six weeks of illness. She is survived by her husband employed at Waterloo Produce, two sons, and a brother MH Bullock of London Minnesota. Funeral from 822 Barclay Street Friday at 7:30 pm conducted by Rev Stauffacher. Remains to be taken to London Minnesota for burial.
