The tabernacle is nearly finished and decorated for the Lyon meetings with seating for about 1200 and a 150 to 200 strong choir. Chester F Harrie and Mrs Harris arrived for choir practice as preparations continue. a reception is planned Saturday night at the Congregational church. No worship services Sunday except Bible School at 9 30 and the first tabernacle service at 10 45.

Frank H. Weldon of the Imperial Automobile Co. planned a Dawson trip to negotiate a car load purchase. Upon opening his grip in front of a client, a green grass snake about fourteen inches long slid out from blue prints. The origin of the snake inside the grip remains a mystery. He had packed the grip at home and only opened it in auto garages and a Des Moines street car depot waiting room.

In Bradford business news the St Paul and Des Moines Railroad sold 160 acre farm containing town lots to Iowa Falls businessmen Bliss Richmond and Peet, plus a 120 acre farm west of Bradford, with plans to improve and market the property. The Congregational aid society hosted about fifty ladies at Mrs Andrew Smith’s home giving Mrs Nate Brickman a souvenir Edora spoon for her Los Angeles winter.
