Mrs S E Whitney of Eldora dies suddenly in Oklahoma City Oklahoma. Telegram announced the death on Sunday with no cause given. Survivors include her husband Ed Whitney daughter Mrs C F Woodward and sons Fred and Chas all of Oklahoma. Funeral and burial in Oklahoma City to follow today. Eldora residents extend sympathy to Mr Whitney.
Next Tuesday evening November 27 Rev A E Kepford will visit Eldora to present a free lecture on The Problems of Tuberculosis. The event is hosted by the Iowa Association for the Study and Prevention of Tuberculosis whose president is ex Governor Larrabee. The talk aims to inform the public about the disease and its threat to modern life. The venue details will be announced in Saturday's issue.
