Indians Edge Eldora In Tight Wednesday Game

The Eldora Palefaurs lost 8 to 6 to the Indians in a seesaw matchup marked by late rallies and pivotal pitching by Van Nice for the Indians. Lucy Syverson and Mr. Doud of Eldora fished at the river last Tuesday. Sam Shaner’s have a new piano. Many local girls will be in Eldora this week. The Aid Society at Mr Hall’s was a financial and social success. E L Cross was on the sick list last week. A funeral for Mr Repp was attended by many from here at Iowa Falls last Thursday. W A Wickham and family visited friends in Owasa last Sunday. About a hundred locals enjoyed a picnic near Mr Huse’s last Sunday. Mr and Mrs Smuck of Eldora visited Mrs Smuck’s parents, the Shaner couple, last Sunday. Frank Mogel of Cody Nebraska, visiting here, left for home last Monday.
