Union Meetings Thrive In City With Strong Conversions
The union evangelistic meetings in the city run over two weeks draw large crowds at the Opera House and Congregational Church with sermons by Evangelist O. O. Smith. Another Old Settler Dies McFarland Family Obituary
Ulysses I Cinsey McFarland born January 8 1831 Wayne County Ohio. He married Martha P Sheldon and had twelve children four of whom survived with names and locations across Iowa Illinois Missouri and Nebraska. He traveled to California during the gold rush era and later moved to Pleasant Township Hardin County Iowa where he bought a farm. His wife died April 7 1900. He died April 8 1901.
