Miss Mabel Foster returns from a week with friends in Oskaloosa. Henry Van Tiger spent Christmas with his Missouri parents. About ten new pupils entered Monday and Miss Mabel Lockwood joined the high school. Miss Winn of Albert Lea visited as guest of Miss Neva Snyder. Students at colleges, including Monard Miller, Ha Mardin, Wil Moir, and Clayton Haas, were away. The postponed program from December will be held Saturday evening with a ten cent entrance fee for a music fund. The program includes a literary Lincoln segment and a farce. Remember the date January 7.

The Eldora Free Public Library announces hours 2 30 to 6 30 p m and 7 00 p m on weekdays and 2 to 5 p m on Sundays until July 1st. Stephen Whited president, C E Greef secretary, Clara Estabrook librarian. Regular trustees meeting first Wednesday monthly. The new library building is completed, lighted and warmed. Citizens of Hidora and nearby areas and visitors are invited to use the library without money or price. Promoters thank the public for support and note gentle opposition. Readers are urged to inspect the facilities and enjoy the available books and magazines.
