Planting Street Trees Requires Proper Hole Size
Planting street trees demands knowledge, for not all trees sold are fit for the job. The key factor is a hole large enough to allow water and air to reach the roots, especially where soil is compacted. Loosening soil to three to five feet deep and wide ensures healthier growth and future success.
