Webster City correspondent reports four inmates of the Iowa boys Industrial School at Eldora escaped Friday morning. Aged ten to fourteen, they wore blue uniforms with Iowa on the brass buttons. They climbed the main building dome and used the fire escape to gain liberty, with authorities speculating they might head toward Webster City.
Mrs J W Porter visiting her parents Mr and Mrs Geo H Tolman hosted a dinner for Oskaloosa friends on Thursday with guests Mesdames E O Cole T E Martin Geo W Russell Henry Boggie G A Alexander and Mrs Cora Sears of Chicago.
