The dedication date for the new Carnegie Library is set for Monday May 11 with Gov. Cummins present to deliver the dedicatory address. Property will be moved from the old building before then and Mr Southland with a lease may take possession for use as a music store. The Herald will provide further details in the next issue.
Invitations issued for the marriage of Miss Julia May Morse to Mr William Davis Cleveland Jr at Christchurch on Wednesday April 29 at 8 o'clock. A large Morse house party and attendants from Ohio Kentucky and Dallas are listed with guests from Cincinnati Sterling Tidora and Houston. The Houston newspaper notes the event as a chief society affair and mentions Burdock Blood Bitters as a health tip.
Educational meeting to be held in the Methodist Church Steamboat Rock May 1 and 2 with a full program. Invocations, addresses by Rev J Black Rev Geo HL Birney and Mayor K W Wilers, music by girls quartet, recitations, readings, and teaching demonstrations. Crick of White Plains Kentucky praising digestion and restored health after use.
