Custody Battle Over Carroll Crockett Reversed by Supreme Court

The Supreme Court reversed a lower court ruling, granting custody of Carroll Crockett to his father Frank W. Crockett in Des Moines. The decision upholds the existing agreement that after three years separation the boy would live with the father, while allowing limited maternal visits. Justice Bishop authored the opinion, and the appeal originated from Hardin County. Carroll will reside with his father during Crockett’s law practice absences, with Mrs. Crockett entitled to periodic visits.
