Hi Frazier and wife attended Silas Frazier’s funeral in Orcarville last Monday. Zion Chapel held its first quarterly meeting of the year with Rev Comjie of Kajaus City preaching. Mrs Mary Wright advertised a clothing sale with economical prices for women.
Funeral notices recall Mrs Daly wife of the Second Baptist pastor at New Franklin Missouri as a beloved figure in the community. A university chapel debate featured the Old Missouri Varsity Society with Medics in formal dress and four judges from the University.
Ernest Morris traveled to Kansas City on Wednesday morning. Rozella Colley, recently ill, is improving and plans to return to school. Rev A A Gilbert and Barthle’s revival meetings continue to draw crowds with no announced end. They expect new neighbors William Bradford and wife from Sweet Springs, moving March 10. Maggie L Johnson, a leading Mayview teacher, returned home Saturday morning. At the Second Baptist church.

Misses Martha and Ida Fowlerand Mrs Martha Kile, along with Pete Kile, spent Monday in Marshall. Miss Mattie Trippitt plans to visit Cow Creek to see grandmother. A Me Chapel built a new house and Rev Wallace moves March 1. John H Bowen and wife visited Mrs Jessie Allen. Mildred Bowen stayed with Mrs T D Fowler. Maria Bend and other young ladies held a Fancy Work. The Ladies Aid Society met with Mrs Bud Florence. refreshments were served.
A two week revival at the M E Church led by Rev J Will Jackson D D presiding elder is announced for the 18th. The church expects a blessed time and souls to be blessed as the fourth quarterly meeting is held in the district.
