The Western Missouri Association held its annual session at Burns Chapel from August 17 to 20 with strong attendance. Officers elected include H. Green moderator Marshall W. H. Howard assistant Lexington E. D. Burns clerk Blackburn Chas. Smith assistant Arrow Rack. Services filled the courthouse with preaching by H. Green and W. Howard, and evangelist J. P. McDonnell drew a larger crowd than the church could hold. The association will meet at Arrow Rock the Monday before the third Sunday in August 1906. Miss Lydia Long, a George R. Smith College graduate, won first prize for cake baking at the State Fair.
