Woman Susan Payne Held After Jefferson City Arrest
Susan Payne, described as a colored woman from Sedalia, was arrested Friday in Jefferson City by Marshal Schmidt on information from Chief of Police Love. She was arraigned before Police Judge Truxel, waived preliminary hearing, and was held for the criminal court as an accused accomplice in a Leeton farmer’s robbery.
