Sedalia man dies in St Louis Empire Hotel fire
A. J. Allen, a Sedalia stone mason, perished in the Empire Hotel fire in St. Louis early Sunday. Ten others died or were burned, eight injured, three unaccounted. Allen left Sedalia Saturday with his son and daughter in law. his remains expected home for burial.
