The death of W B Hurtt, noted pioneer carpenter and contractor, occurred at 3 30 after a 10 month illness from Brights disease. Born Oct 5 1820 in Oss County Ohio, he moved to Sedalia over 25 years ago from Peru Indiana. Survived by wife Lucinda Kunkle Hurtt and two sons J P and Lee. Funeral at 2 30 PM tomorrow from the South Vermont residence with Rev Fuller officiating.
