The first of four trains, led by Conductor Bradley and engine 1216 with Engineer Guinn, saw two flat cars derail and topple. A blacksmithing shop, circus cooking outfit, and many circus wagons were damaged. track cleared by 7 AM.

Two Young Burglars Bound Over In Sedalia Court
James Varner 13 and his brother John 16 were bound over to the criminal court in Judge Smith’s court on a $500 bond after being arraigned for breaking into George Alcorn’s residence in Southeast Sedalia.
