Miss Etta Lindsay and Mr. Clay Townsend, both of Sedalia, secretly married last night at Rev. L. Cook's home after rumors swirled on the streets. Townsend, an engineer, had separated from his prior wife, and Lindsay had a legal separation but no divorce. The couple planned to reside at Kahrs residence on East Third Street.
