Sedalia Man Donates Entire Library to Missouri Historical Society
A Sedalia benefactor, F A Sampson, donates his 7000 title Missouri history collection to the Missouri Historical Society. The gift, described as the state’s most valuable private library on Missouri history, will be housed at the society and broaden access to state materials. Professor Isadore Loeb announced the donation after a October 11 finance committee meeting chaired by R M White and Walter Williams.

Tragic Swinton Man Shot During Fatal Bloomfield Attempt
