Prominent Citizen Dr. William Parberry Dies in Montana

Dr. William Parberry aged 70, uncle of Mrs. John D. Crawford of this city and of Thomas Parberry of Pettis county, died at his White Sulphur Springs Montana home Sunday at 3 am. He had health decline for a year and sought specialists in Montana and the East. Born in Kentucky he practiced medicine in Cole and Pettis counties before moving to Montana in 1866 where he remained. His death, while not unexpected, brings sorrow to Missouri friends.

Destructive Windstorm Hits Macon Missouri Area

A severe windstorm struck Macon on Monday evening at 5 30 injuring several and destroying homes in the southeast. Nine houses and several businesses in Keota near Central Coal and Coke sites were ruined. Two men a woman and two children were killed and others critically injured as the storm swept from the northwest to the southeast.
