Richmond Missouri October 12 seventy five jurors were summoned as Deputy Sanders and the court spent the day selecting a jury for the Perdue murder case. Testimony may begin late today or tomorrow morning amid pretrial publicity and judge Alexander rules newspaper reports are not grounds for jurors opinions.
Windsor Missouri October 12 Probate Judge Lindsay of Henry county was asked to commit George Maltby to the Nevada insane asylum. Martin Maltby, his brother, had sought guardianship for George after court evidence. The guardian encountered George at the farm armed with a shotgun and ordered him off threatening to kill him, prompting the committment petition.
The forecast calls for clear to fair skies tonight with warmer temperatures. Friday will see continued fair weather with warmer readings, especially in the eastern portion.
