Sedalia Y M C A seeks $50 000 building after state meeting
The twenty ninth annual State Y M C A convention closed with a rousing farewell at the First M E church. A Sedalia committee led by John Montgomery Jr and State Secretary Banks began preliminary steps to organize a Sedalia Y M C A and raise fifty thousand dollars for a building. Rev J M Rudy and ministers allied with the effort supported the plan. About 1 000 men attended a Sunday afternoon gathering at the Sedalia Theater.
