The Missouri Kansas and Texas suffered a rail wreck at Caney switch in Indian Territory thirty nine miles north of Denison last night around 8 20. Engine 257 driven by G F Toulson hit caboose 22 of southbound freight train 101 wrecking the engine and three cars. Conductor Charley Crowder on a coal extra pulled by engine 242 had stopped for orders at Caney switch and helped flag the trains to prevent further collision.
