The Lamonte post office safe was blown open early this morning using nitroglycerine. About $125 in currency was taken, with $50 belonging to Postmaster J. M. O Bannon and $75 to the U S government. No clues identified suspects. officials warned officers in nearby cities. The heist followed entry through a broken front plate glass and a rear door. The Lamonte post office had a prior break in some months ago with no losses.

Fatal valve blow at Armourdale packing plant tragedy
