The Chicago lumber district faces growing unrest as 11 more firms fire drivers over boycotted houses. Court actions continue against union leaders while militia preparations increase. Indictments follow the fatal beating of Charles Carlstrom.
Coroner's jury previously acquitted the Akron, Ohio man accused of murder but reports indicate he has been arrested again, suggesting fresh charges or new developments in the case.
Nelson Kepler, a Barberton society leader, was indicted for second degree murder in Akron. He is accused of killing his fiancée Grace Trumphour last December in the Kepler mansion after they went to her room. Kepler had claimed the death was suicide, but grand jury evidence prompted the charge. He was released on five thousand dollar bail.
John A. Lee ex lieutenant governor of Missouri asked for a continuance due to the absence of witness I M George. The case was reset for June 14 with the state seeking a July trial after the Farris Smith bribery cases, in which Lee is expected to be the state's chief witness.

Wilbur Conner presides and delivers the address while the program features class poems histories papers advisories will and prophecy roasts and a one act comedy. The High School orchestra conducted by Willie Waldman performs and Miss Grayee Baker delivers a select reading, reciting the Sweet Girl Graduate.

The ticket is expected to be Governor Herrick, with A. L. Harris as lieutenant governor, W. Z. Davis as Supreme Judge, and Wade Ellis as attorney general.
The prominent baking powder magnate passed away today in Stamford Connecticut. His leadership and business legacy shaped the industry and he leaves a notable mark in corporate history.
William Zeigler a Stamford millionaire head of the baking powder trust died at 52. He faced Missouri bribery indictments tied to legislation that sparked the baking powder scandals. An extradition attempt was blocked by New York Governor Odell preventing transfer for trial.
The Lotus club will host a dance Friday evening at the Sedalia Athletic Club rooms showcasing members from the club in an evening of social recreation.
J B Young president of the defunct Goldfield bank and trust company and his lawyer Francis Burton were arrested on Goldfield authorities request. The bank liabilities total 78000 with only 4820 assets found and 16 in the vault. Young also heads the Lida Investment company and faces accusations of looting.
On account of commencement exercises at the opera house tomorrow night there will be no revival services at the First Christian church. The usual services will be held Friday night. J. M. Rudy, pastor.
