Death of John Bluhm Drew A Very Large Pension
John Bluem Drew aged 62 died in Eldorado Springs Missouri on Saturday night after kidney trouble. His remains returned to Sedalia and were laid to rest after services at First M E Church. He drew a pension of 72 dollars a quarter due to losing his right hand in the Civil War. Survived by widow Katherine Gehrs, an adopted daughter Leota Bluhm, two stepchildren Walter and Myrtle Swearingen, a brother Richard of Smithton, and a sister Mrs Mary Rogers.
