E H Gary Withdraws From Wheaton Church He Founded
Chicago reports E H Gary head of the steel trust has withdrawn from the Gary Methodist church in Wheaton which he founded and dedicated to his parents. Faced with long standing factional strife he says he is through with Methodism. Gary built the church at 100000 dollars and funded minister salaries while in New York the withdrawal follows a memorial sermon by Rev G K Flack who attacked trustees as unchristian and attacked labor agitators as a menace to Americanism.
