Rail project revival links Trinity Cameron line with Katy system

Missouri Kansas and Texas Railway has reached a deal to buy the right of way and franchise of the Trinity Cameron and Western Railway promoted by former Governor J. S. Hogg. The plan envisions 150 plus miles of new track from Georgetown to Trinity connecting to existing lines, with further links to the Orange and Northwestern. The move follows recent traffic notes and local court attendance, along with updates on trains and crew movements across Missouri lines.
