Jefferson City Mo Jan 11 The Missouri inauguration program for Gov Dockery is set with a joint session at 11 and oath at noon by Chief Justice Burgess. Joe P Rice received his railroad commissioner commission from Gov Stephens after Les Euer refused. Keith details include bond signers and mentions Flory opposition and political tension.
Modern Woodmen of America members in Pettis County organize a Log Rolling Association at Sedalia. Officers elected include President Sam Hodges and vice presidents Dr. Tyler A. W. Chat ham and P. F. Jo. Wright. secretary F. M. Blaise. treasurer Willis E. Taylor. and a nine-member board. Delegates from fourteen camps attend, with over 800 members countywide.
The article reports Judge Henry Anderson eight miles southwest of Sedalia narrowly escaping severe injury on Thursday night. A messenger sought the family physician, Dr. M. T. Collins, and this morning the judge was greatly improved. It also notes votes in The Sentinel's educational contest have not yet been counted and will be announced Sunday.
