The National Bowling Congress began in Tomlinson hall with ten new alleys for the championship week. W. W. Rice Dies at 60 Near City
Walter W. Rice, aged 60, died at his home two miles south of the city this morning from heart trouble. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon from the home, with burial in Alcorn cemetery. He was a well known and respected local resident, native of Ohio, longtime Missouri resident.
