N H Gentry of Sedalia elected president and Frank D Winn of Kansas City named secretary for a national swine show to be held in Kansas City October 7 11. A representative group of hog breeders formed a committee on arrangements with members from Poland China and Berkshire lines and the association promised 10000 in premiums for the show including regular and special displays.
Major C B Gunn, noted civil engineer who helped construct the Missouri Pacific and M K T railroads, died Monday in Kansas City. The report notes a $20 million railroad syndicate formed to control the South and lists local railroad personals and hospital arrivals as of February 19 Kansas City Missouri.
