A father and son team followed the scent to a mink hiding under a corn crib. the hunt covered Perche church to Renick, Clark, Elliott, and Miller’s Fair Grounds, ending at Crow’s place after roughly twenty miles. The mink was captured for a pelts sale worth about 3 dollars. Names of the trappers were not learned.
