C F Boatwright a Sedalia veteran passes away at 6:45 pm at 1022 East Third Street after a week of pneumonia. Born June 26 1831 in Kanawha County West Virginia he moved to Missouri in 1840 and later ran a general merchandise business. An ardent temperance advocate he valued Charles B Rouse who helped start his career. Funeral Wednesday at 2 pm from his home conducted by Rev F W Simpson.
