Sedalia approves sidewalk condemnation on Prospect Street
The 1902 ordinance condemns wooden and defective sidewalks on the east and west sides of Prospect Street from Cooper to Johnson and Johnson Henry to Heary streets. It requires property owners to remove old walks and replace with brick stone or concrete five foot wide sidewalks, with corner lot extensions to the nearest intersecting curb. It sets deadlines for work, bids, and funding by special assessments.
