Sedalia citizens J West Goodwin and Judge G W Barnett traveled to Scranton Pennsylvania during the national convention to organize a Citizens Alliance. The group aims to suppress boycotts and strikes and quickly helped resume streetcar service, signaling the end of a major labor dispute.

She was eighty five and funeral set for Saturday at 10 in Spring Fork Catholic Church. Born in County Carey Ireland she lived in Spring Fork thirty years. Her husband predeceased her.
Yesterday marked the fifteenth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Turner of 1012 East Sixteenth Street. In the evening friends and neighbors arrived with well filled baskets for a delightful gathering. Attending included Dr. and Mrs. E. F. Gresham, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Honeyfelt, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Brengis, and several others.
Cards announce the coming marriage of Aurelius Conway Fleming of Kansas City formerly Lamonte to Anna Lee Phillips of Kansas City Kas on December 321. Fleming holds a mercantile position in Kansas City and served in the Second regiment N. G. M. during the Spanish-American war.
