Death of William H. Stewart at 79 in Sedalia
William H. Stewart aged 79 years and 10 months died this morning at 11 o clock at his home 500 East Tenth Street Sedalia after an eight month illness due to dropsy. Born in Lancastershire England he came to the United States in 1839 and spent fourteen years in Sedalia. A traveling carpenter he lived in many states and abroad before settling here. He is survived by his wife and seven children W A Stewart a Katy fireman Miss Maggie Stewart both in Sedalia W J Stewart and Anna Stewart in Kansas City A E Darrow in Pueblo Mary Frederick in Cheney and E H Hanley in Denver. White releases Ross White in forgery case at Mexico Mo
Frank White of Mexico Missouri reclaimed his son Ross White after a forged check theft case. Prosecutor Cushman recommended discharge following a strong juvenile warning by Judge Truxel. The $15 loss was reimbursed. Vinton White, Ross’s brother, paid another check and is praised as diligent while paying his way through school.

A letter from Mrs William Bolton’s bedside reports she was injured Saturday morning in Kansas City when she fell from a street car while stepping off. The injuries are believed slight. she has been moved to the home of her son-in-law Lorenz McGee, nephew of Capt T C Holland.

Admiral Dewey Hoists Flag Aboard Mayflower for Caribbean Maneuvers
