A morning accident two miles west of Warrensburg on the Missouri Pacific injured Conductor N Crawford and brakemen George Anderson Jam Richards. A broken drawbar on a derailed eastbound extra wrecked seven cars. Anderson and Richards were hospitalized in St. Louis after transfer from Sedalia. Crawford was sent home.
