Walker Wright, 31, formerly of the Indian Territory, was arrested by Officers Boullt and Ramsey for robbing and burning John O. Craft’s home Saturday night. A watch found on him was identified by Craft, and insurance on the home stood at 800 dollars.
Sedalia Missouri dated April 15 1901 a correspondent urges correction of a Sentinel article on the county pest house. The letter states the county board of health has no management or expense duty there and that sole responsibility lies with the city board of health under law. It says the county has arranged for physicians to handle rural cases and assures proper attention to such patients.
The man, a carpenter, had just finished constructing his house and owed part of the materials bill. The encumbrance on the property remained a concern as creditors sought payment.

Three new policemen Charles Leftwich Morris Sullivan and Charles Eckhoff were nominated alongside renominations for other city posts. Entrance used a skeleton key. no clues left behind. Police suspect the same group implicated in Lincoln Cole Camp and Sweet Springs depredations with Sedalia talent suspected.
Nicholas Worth, German born Civil War veteran and longtime Sedalia resident, died Sunday night at 8 30 at his home 123 St Louis avenue. He was born April 5 1838. Funeral services will be held at his residenceTuesday at 2 oclock with Rev Hunt of the First M E church officiating.
Forest Park street cars will start tomorrow morning from Main and Ohio streets ten minutes before every hour. Sixteenth street cars run on their usual schedule at 25 and 55 minutes after each hour.

W H Newsom, a city tailor, died Sunday afternoon at 4 30 o clock in City Hospital of dropsy. He was buried this afternoon.
John R. Musick, Omaha author journalist and politician, died in his apartments after injuries from rescuing the injured following a Kirksville Missouri cyclone. He wrote historical stories for youth and led Missouri Knights of Pythias as grand chancellor commander. He served ten years as U S commissioner at Kirksville.
