A fatal duel was reported at Persons Kansas yesterday between Jack Murphy a farmer and an unknown man. Both men died from four gunshot wounds to the body. The motive remains unknown. Murphy is brother in law of Marion Asbell who was tried for his wife murder last year. Asbell once wrestled and held the Kansas championship with Sedalia bouts earlier. Asbell's step daughter and step son are in county jail for lascivious conduct and carrying concealed weapons.
