Caries D Huffine manager of the Paper Box Co living at 1218 Ave West died after falling into an elevator shaft in the Saxony Knitting building at 2005 Fifth Ave. He died two hours later at Seattle General Hospital. Huffine had delivered a box shipment to Eclipse Neckwear Co on the fifth floor and fell after stepping toward the elevator.
Augusto Schisca shot Narschaso Guntoli at Schisca’s Lakota home about 9 30 Saturday night in defense of his wife’s honor. Sheriff Starwich says Schisca will likely be released without prosecution. Guntoli was shot in Tacoma and won’t prosecute. Schisca, 39, is jailed in Seattle after arrest at 6 am Sunday with Deputy Sears.
