A mishmash of wreck reports states that a train wreck near Kingfisher caused deaths and missing passengers. Ullrich Daniels, former assistant cashier of the Milwaukee Avenue Bank of Chicago, lies dying in Stavanger Norway from apoplexy and kidney inflammation. He had been traveling for health when the bank failed. Though rarely rational, in lucid moments he worried the bank crash might reflect on him, though he insists he bore no responsibility.
Mrs A L Benson of San Francisco fought back a grass fire unaided with wet blankets and saved a pest house where her daughter Gertrude was confined with a small eye ailment. The building and fences were saved but outbuildings were destroyed.

Delegates from Seattle attended. officers elected include Rev. George J. Cuddy secretary Rev. Charles S. Revelle statistical secretary and William H. Leech treasurer. A draft for 1004 from publishers of Epworth Herald and Christian Advocate was presented. Activities include a 130 PM statistical session at the public library and evening evangelistic services by Rev D D Benedict. The conference continues through Monday September 24 with meetings of the Deaconess association and addresses by D C Franklin and H K Carroll.
A report that KR Cudihee will resign his sheriff nomination is unfounded says HB Drees of the Democratic Central committee. No other names have been suggested and no discussions of withdrawal have occurred. A county committee meeting will be held to elect officers and plan the fall campaign.
Simer Burton, 8, son of F. W. Berton, 807 Lane, was killed when he touched a dangling live telephone wire from Independent Telephone Co near the corner of Lane and Street. Death was instantaneous. body taken to Bonney Watson's.
No steamer has been found to replace the Camano on the city to Everett and Island Port route while she undergoes repairs for a broken shaft. The Fairhaven will cover the service once daily. Island Navigation Company says no charter can be secured as all available steam craft are tied up on the Sound.
Chicago Sept 19. The federal court issued a permanent injunction restraining brokers from selling tickets over all trunk lines. The first order was entered immediately after the Chicago world's fair.
In New Westminster B C Alexander McMartin an elderly resident was found dead in the doorway of his cabin by a newsboy at seven pm last night an inquest was not held and death was attributed to heart failure
A surge of Armenian unrest has filled over 100 Tartare in Tifias. The Nippon Yusen Kaisha steamship Kaga Maru arrived at Victoria today from Oriental ports, carrying notable passenger K Takahashi of Yokohama Specie Bank to secure a loan. the ship sails to Seattle tomorrow with silks and Oriental goods.

A Seattle coroner's jury ruled that Alexander Sime died in a midnight First Ave collision on September 14, 1906 caused by a defective Ballard car operated by Seattle Electric. The panel faulted brakes and air apparatus, calling for the car to have been moved only by a properly functioning car. Officials, witnesses, and the autopsy described severe injuries to Sime. several crew members testified about prior car defects.
