Aboard Elliott Bay battleships there is a floating department store with 21 storerooms and over $1,000,000 in supplies. The ship offers pay checks, a print shop, library, chapel, bank, and numerous services all at cost plus 15 percent. The New Mexico is highlighted as the electric driven flagship, a pioneer in a fully electric battleship with four 7,000 hp motors and two main turbo generators.
