The Ramona, Pacific Coast Steamship Co., wrecked off Spanish island at 8:30 p m on Sept 10 during fog. All passengers were rescued by the steamer Northwestern, which reached Baranof Island after receiving word by wireless. The Ramona was built in 1902 at Alameda California, 190 feet long, 32 foot beam, 1061 tons gross, operated between Seattle and Skagway.
