Three Posses Hunt Beasts Man Near Schneider's Prairie

Three heavily armed posses scour wooded areas in Southwestern Washington hunting the so called fiend of Schneiders Prairie who attacked Mrs. O Hara and her four daughters and a neighbor boy for four hours. Authorities report searches by soldiers deputies and volunteers around Camp Lewis the Nisqually river and near Olympia with more than 200 Thurston county residents involved. A possible sighting near the Puyallup road and a man matching the description prompted continued manhunt efforts and fingerprint work by IL May, a Seattle detective, who examined the O Hara home.

Young Gunman Confessed Gang Involving Four Others

Edward Guest, 15, wounded in the abdomen at his home while Jack Fithian, 14, is held as the alleged shooter.
