Arrangements for the services show utmost calmness as Mrs Mohr the wife accused by three of plotting her husband’s murder attends the funeral of Dr C Franklin and his assistant Miss Emily Burger. Police say three negroes were paid to kill them. Mrs Mohr denies the charges calling the reports tea. The motive cited is jealousy over attention to Miss Burger.
