County Ballots Reprinted After Printing Blunder

A county auditor error forces reprinting of about 65 000 ballots for the upcoming election at an estimated cost near 2000 dollars. The misprint misidentified which supreme court candidates hold long versus short terms. The secretary of state detected the error upon reviewing copies, and the second run will cost less per thousand though total impact remains. Two new supreme bench seats were created. Gov. Mead appointed two judges, and this year two elected to finish terms while two others fill remaining seats.
