Twelve women and one man were jailed in London for suffragette disturbances in the House of Commons gallery. Sentences ranged from a week to a month after guards tore protestors from gratings. fines were offered but rejected in favor of prison. Olympia Oct 2 Land Commissioner Ed W Ross has been advised he won for the state common schools a large quantity of timber in Jefferson county. In 1906 surveys of lands in township 26 range 12 and 18 were conducted.
