Explosion at Times Building Probed by Grand Jury
In Los Angeles on October 28 the special grand jury continued evidence on the Times disaster. Witnesses include Chief Engineer Mulholland and Kern county miner BE Nashold who described the wall widening and a 15 foot diameter hole with flame. Nashold, an experienced dynamite handler, testified the blast was dynamite. The coroner's jury also met but adjourned to Monday due to two absent jurors.
